‘Smoky odor’ diverts New York-bound flight
A flight from Salt Lake City, Utah, to New York City was diverted to Nebraska overnight because of a „smoky odor” coming from the rear of the cabin, a Delta spokeswoman said Tuesday morning.

Furloughs loom for almost 4,000 FAA workers
Almost 4,000 Federal Aviation Administration workers are facing furloughs after Congress adjourned Friday without passing a measure to reauthorize the agency’s funding, according to the Transportation Department.
